Hubby's taking a nap so I thought I would post a quick update..
We still don't know what the plan is for the future of RTC. Brad said he really wants to make it work and get everyone on-board again, and that he is going to contact each of them and sort it out. I messaged him on facebook today for an update, and it seems that is not going so well so far, so I guess we will have to wait n see what happens. However, the Bastard's Alliance (Jason's punk band) is doing wonderfully and has been stress-free no-drama fun so far! :) Their next show is at the Breakroom April 17th.
Thursday I was at work and about 10:30 my boss came over and asked me if I wanted to go home, which I assumed was for the rest of the day. I said, "Um, ok" and he said "see ya Monday!" So- I will be enjoying a nice LONG weekend and a SHORT paycheck next week. Oh well, it's still more money than I had on unemployment for the last year! So I spent today talking back and forth with a friend of mine from Texas via text messaging, cleaning the house, working on Photoshop and Flash, and playing online. I did manage to get motivated enough to take a shower. Yeah ME! It felt so good to sleep in!
Nikki and her bf Cody have booked their trip home to Michigan!!! They will be here the last week of July, and I can't wait to see my favorite sis! It's been a long time, way too long!
J and I are talking about a vacation to Texas sometime between July and September. Has anyone been there before and/or have suggestions of cool shit to do there? Since my buddy lives out there we will probably stay with him for a couple days (since it's free, and we want to visit him). He lives near Dallas/Fort Worth. But there are a ton of things we keep finding a couple hours or so West of there that look awesome to see, so I'm sure we will be traveling quite a bit of Texas when we go. I have ordered a bunch of free travel brochures online too- and have gotten a few in the mail already :)
Hope all is well with everyone! For once we have a weekend with NO plans! YEAH! Video games, drinks, hot tub.. here we come. |
